Spending time with God's Word is the most impactful thing one can do as a Christian.
In Ephesians Ch. 6, Paul talks about putting on the armor of God, so that we will be able to stand our ground when the day of evil comes. He also urges us to wear the breastplate of righteousness, along with the belt of truth and the shield of faith. Last but not least, he urges us to take the helmet of salvation AND the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Have you ever noticed that out of all these weapons, all but one are meant to defend against the enemy's blows: all but the sword, which is the Word of God. We believe that Paul was divinely inspired to get this point across: that the Word is the most impactful weapon we can have in our hand as followers of Jesus Christ.
That's why we believe that our children, regardless of age, need to learn about the power of the Word by spending daily time in it. And who else can they learn it from, if not from the most powerful role models in their lives: you, the parent.
When you as a parent live out your faith through prayer and daily journaling, your children are witnesses of you genuinely acting out your faith in your life.
Praying and journaling are important for family life because they demonstrate how important faith is.
While prayer will strengthen your relationship with God, the benefits go beyond that: it has the ability to deepen relationships within the family, by encouraging family members to become more sensitive to each other's feelings.
That's why we strongly believe in our Faith journals' ability to help you improve in all these areas of your family life.
