Does My Bucket Journals support any worthy causes? Why yes we do!
We believe in supporting our national parks
My Bucket Journals is a proud sponsor of the National Parks Foundation and donates each fall during their annual donor drive. In 2020 we contributed $1000 to their effort to preserve our national wild spaces.
National Parks Foundation https://www.nationalparks.org/
The National Park Foundation strives to ensure that all people are welcome and able to discover their own personal connections to parks. National parks tell the story of America, in all its beauty and imperfection, and they are committed to sharing these essential and vital stories. Parks don't just stand for where America has been – they inspire where we go next.
We believe in supporting veterans
For every copy of My Military Story Bucket Journal, we donate $2 to one of the following organizations.
National Honor Flight Network https://www.honorflight.org/
The mission of Honor Flight is to transport America’s veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated to honoring those who have served and sacrificed for our country. Participation in an Honor Flight trip gives veterans the opportunity to share this momentous occasion with other comrades, to remember friends and comrades lost, and share their stories and experiences with other veterans. All honored veterans travel at no cost to the veteran.
Homes for Our Troops https://www.hfotusa.org/
This organization builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Most of these Veterans have sustained injuries including multiple limb amputations, partial or full paralysis, and/or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). These homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country, and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives.
Wounded Warrior Project https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/
Every warrior has unique challenges and goals. That’s why Wounded Warrior Project provides a variety of veteran programs and services to help service members take the steps that are right for them. With the tremendous support of donors, veterans never pay a penny to get the help they need to build the future they deserve. Their comprehensive programs include mental wellness, physical wellness, career and VA benefits counseling, and a veterans crisis hotline.
