The State of Iowa is a patchwork landscape of rolling hills, valleys, and lakes. It is a geographically diverse state that also has a history that dates back to the 1600s.  There are 54 rivers and even more streams.

Some of the destinations in the journal are well known and some are less traveled, all are waiting for you to discover their unique qualities and check them off your bucket list.

In the 2022 edition of Iowa State Parks Bucket Journal, you will find individual pages for 84 state parks and recreation areas. Most allow camping and all are great for day use trips.

This bucket journal is different. It gives you the ability to create your own unique exploration of whichever state park or historic site you choose.

How to Use Your Iowa State Parks Bucket Journal

Looks great. Bought it for a Christmas present for my daughter-in-law. The family loves to hike and try new areas.

In general am enjoying the book, however I have found a mistake...you have Decatur county in northwest Iowa and it should be in southwest/east Iowa. And consider putting at least 1 pic in for each park. Keep up the amazing work as it's nice to have them all in one spot!

I've just started looking at the journal to plan my trips. I love the format and the journal questions. However I noticed some errors immediately. This is the Iowa Journal.

On p. 7 Decatur County is listed under the Northwest Region. Decatur County is in Southwest Iowa. There is also a listing for "Forest County." This county name doesn't exist in Iowa, but Forest City is in Hancock County. The following pages include the same mistakes. Proofreading and fact checking is important.

The map of Iowa counties does not include the county names which would have made trip planning a lot easier. I've penciled them in.

Other than that I am looking forward to using my Iowa Journal!
